Peas Out Mama

blogging about life in the mama 'hood

Yep, I’ve Hopped on the Blog Bandwagon

Yeah, I know. There are tons of mommy blogs out there. I thought and thought (and thought again) about what would be different about mine. What would be my niche? I tried to be a planner (you know, be strategic and all). And then I said screw it. I’ve been a planner all my life. And well, right now I don’t feel like it. So I don’t know what’s different about my blog except that it’s mine. And that’s enough for me. Okay, so maybe my mom will be the only one to read this thing (once she figures out what this “blogging business” is all about and has determined it safe for me to write publicly for all the crazies out there to see). If that’s the case, well…hi, mom. But here’s to hoping that you’re a little interested in what I have to say.

Hi from one of the crazies. 🙂 It’s your blog, it’s your kid, it’s your experience as a mom. All that stuff is unique, but all of it can be shared with other parents, too. Whether you’re writing about cute moments or worries or frustrations or joys, other new parents will appreciate seeing how one mom negotiates parenthood.

  2. Hi…it’s not mom! It’s me, Janet. I love your snap pea graphic and your sassy entre into the blogging world! I’m a fan! I’m going to be working on mine tonight or tomorrow night hopefully….been a long time coming. Well here’s to mommy’s who have names to take and things to say—cheers! And if we are the only ones to read each others blogs, then we’ll be well caught up on each other’s lives. But, I am confident we’ll be known throughout the blogosphere soon!! 🙂 Good luck!
